Key
West Florida
|
|
|
Many motorists
vacation travel on U.S. Highway 1 or the "Overseas Highway" in less than
four hours from Miami. However, drivers should allow time to
experience the natural beauty of the ever-changing scenery of the
seas and wilderness bordering the roadway, and the magnificent
sunrises and sunsets. Daily flights by a handful of major airlines
also bring in many vacationers from all over the world. The
airlines that service Key West are Delta, American, US Air, Cape
Air, and Continental. For most every air traveler, you will change
to a smaller plane in South Florida, for the final leg to Key
West. If you fly during daylight, the view of the Florida Keys is
breathtaking.

Key
West Night Life

At
night, Duval is a carnival that lasts until dawn, similar to
Bourbon Street. It is home to such famous name bars as Sloppy
Joe's (where this web cam is located), Hog's Breath Saloon, and The Bull and Whistle, a three
story night spot with Adam and Eve's on the rooftop. You'll
also find Rick's Cafe, which sometimes has karaoke, Irish
Kevin's bar, that has a live interactive entertainer most
nights. The bars are as rich in history here as the town
itself. With all the restaurants, bars and gift
shops galore, Duval Street is alive and pulses with activity. |
